Yoga for a More Mindful Life

Naminder is a paediatric emergency medicine physician who found her passion for yoga after a decade of casual practice. A career in medicine has been both fulfilling and demanding, along with all of life’s other challenges. Integrating yoga into her life has helped her shift the balance towards an increased focus on personal wellbeing, which is often not prioritized for women in medicine. Along with her clinic and academic career she is now pursuing training in functional medicine which she hopes will compliment her core values: a holistic life filled with growth, mindfulness and self compassion.

She enjoys a busy life in Calgary with her family, which also includes any opportunity to bake, get behind a camera, breathe in mountain air, and soak in all of our Southern Alberta sunshine.
